The CK 31 is a cardioid modular screw-on capsule with smoothresponse from 50 Hz to 20 kHz. All 30-series capsules featurepre-polarized condenser elements with gold plated contacts toensure reliable connections and troublefree performance. The 125degree pickup angle is especially suited for inexperienced or very"vivacious" talkers who often fail to talk directly into themicrophone. The CK 31 capsule can be used with any of the “DiscreetAcoustics Modular Series” installation modules. Each 30-seriescapsule has a dual layer windscreen; the dark gray outer layerdisperses the impinging air stream while the inside layer smoothesthe air stream before it reaches the diaphragm. This two-stageprocess efficiently reduces wind noise while maintaining acoustictransparency.
